By quinnstar - 7 Years Ago Ok, I figured out I needed to download and install it too, as the motions I was trying to add were just placeholders. But the 3DXchange didn't say so, only after I tried a simple test in iClone: adding a default character and adding a motion did it say I need to do so.
Still no option to export *.BVH, is this because I am in the trial version? How am I supposed to test how the exported motion looks like? By rcsinger29 - 5 Years Ago. Zqtech624 (1/5/2014) I updated to windows 8 (from win 7) and and now I seem to have this issue, good thing I have most of my characters before I updated. I wanted to make a minor adjustment to one and updated and now the clothes are peeling off What happens when you try to animate the character? Does any of the clothing move with the body?
It is possible that the clothing is not 'fitted' to the avatar, simple oversight I have committed on many occasions. By joel.lovell - 6 Years Ago Ok, maybe I'm just missing something here, but I'm feeling a bit ripped off. I invested in 3DXChange 5 pro (updated to 5.5) and iClone 5 Pro.
(also updated). My whole goal, and what I have been waiting on for a LONG time is to be able to import DAZ products into iClone, including face animations. Now apparently, I can do so. Unless I am mistaken, I now find that I have to buy Facial Pipeline Character Pack @ $99, so that I can then own the • Designer's Source Pack: which includes two critically important items for importing DAZ characters: iclonefaceky.DUF file (Pose Preset file from Daz Studio 4.5 Pro) and the Daz Genesis Avatar Face Key Sequence.xls. I don't know how useful the other items in FPCP would be, but man, this bites to have to fork over another hundred bucks for a two things that 'complete' the 3DXchange process for DAZ. Very frustrating. Regards, Joel By Bellatrix - 5 Years Ago Sketchup free remains popular and used by pro architects.
For Zbrush 1.0 users, Zbrush 2/3/4 are free. So they should not be taken seriously? Another perspective: Even the free version of Daz provides the basics: Genesis Starter Essentials which is a large content bundle included characters, clothing, scenes and props.
